Thought it was more like a bath mat, it's more like a thin cardboard like a cereal box. I actually think it would get real slick if you get out of a shower and step on this. BUT, it DOES TURN BLOOD RED when UT gets wet. It's very cool to play with. I bought it as a prank for my wife, but the joke was on me. She and I have still had fun with it though. Thinking of using it under the dish rack (no slipping and breaking our necks). Buyer be warned. It's a lot of money for novelty.
