This is the best quality furniture item I have ever ordered online. I'm not kidding. Very heavy and sturdy. Good finish. Well packaged. Decent picture-based setup book. Works even better than advertised! Just Wow. If you look at my other reviews, you'll see I am usually pretty reserved in my praise, but this product is just great. It even came with one of the coolest full-size rachet screwdrivers I've ever seen!My use case is a little different than intended. They assume you'll put a wood top on it and provide screws and mounting stuff to attach that. But I repurposed a nice 57" x 27" tempered glass top I have from the expensive desk I was upgrading. It looks fantastic! Obviously, I didn't screw the frame to this top, but the glass sits right on top perfectly securely on the standard rubber/plastic gromets you would otherwise run screws through. I set the width of the legs just a little narrow to make sure the glass was well supported, but this really wasn't necessary. The only real adaptation I had to make was that the little control unit needs to be firmly and squarely mounted to the underside of the desktop. I made this attachment using some clear silicone adhesive and some C-clamps (let it set for at least 12 hours).I particularly like the feature on the control unit to set a timer to remind you to transition from sit to stand or back. Many people have variable height desks and just sort of forget to use the feature.
