This is a good desk. If you're looking for something on a budget, this is great. I like the shelf to keep my printer on, I like the leg room, really the only thing I don't like is the crack is has from being two separate pieces of wood. But I'm an artist and I find that I have all the space I need with this desk, even though I often have it a bit messy. I also scratched it in one spot (my fault), and it doesn't seem like the wood underneath is unbearably yellow when you just have a basic little mark on it the way a lot of more affordable desks do. Putting it together wasn't that bad, I'm 19, clumsy, and not that good with small parts so I was surprised I managed put this together on my own. Towards the end it would definitely help to have another person hold things up for you while you place things together, but if I managed to do it, I'm sure you'll do just fine.
