I struggled to find a sturdy mat large enough for both a Keurig commercial coffee maker and a Diletta Mio "compact" espresso machine. In fact, this was literally the only 16" x 28" mat I could find... and I'm thrilled to have found it. It's plenty heat resistant, sturdy without being too thick, perfectly sized, easy to clean, and helps protect the countertop. Taste varies, obviously, but in my view it looks professional too. And, unlike other brands I've tried, it didn't arrive with any chemical smell. Definitely recommended!I use one at the bar and one under the coffee maker. Hoping it goes away with time.We bought a huge new microwave and I didn't want to scratch our new counter top or put too much heat on the counter top, I bought two last year to have my appliances look neat and tidy, so glad they had This size for our microwave - it barely fits under it, but it does the job! Looks great too! Looks polished with this/ these bar mat(s). When washing them in your sink - be sure it is Fully Dry - before putting back on your counter tops. Highly recommend these!
