I let my German shepherd puppy tried this foraging mat couple times, but she didn’t like it. She has always been a good eater when she eats out of a bowl. She tried slow feeder before and didn’t like it. I thought this mat would be a little different because it looks more fun and interesting. Too bad she didn’t take it at all.My border collie mix enjoys this snuffle mat, and it keeps him busy for a little while, but when he has just about exhausted all the treat pockets, he'll start trying to tear the different pieces off the mat hoping for more. It has held up better than I expected it to with this rough treatment, and when it gets dirty it's easy to throw in the wash and get clean.My only complaint is that it doesn't have a lot of different kinds of problems to solve and was pretty easy for my dog to figure out, and after a couple of uses, he's learned how to empty it out rather quickly; this might not be as much of a problem for other dogs, but something to keep in mind if you have a smarter pet (or one that can be destructive in its pursuit of food).
